Students will need to apply for each individual apprenticeship that they wish to be considered for, as course and entry requirements do vary. However, do be aware that students invited to attend AMA assessment will also be considered for the FM and FE roles too (students will be given the opportunity to select their preference).
You’ll note that all students will need to provide a CV and supporting statement with their application. Details about what to include are in the job descriptions, but the key thing to emphasize is that statements should be original and written by the student. Both a CV and Supporting Statement must be submitted for applications to be progressed.
Assessment center dates are set and confirmed in job descriptions. Candidates that apply early may be invited to attend assessment center before applications close. Candidates will be asked to confirm their availability if they are progressed to video interview; these dates are during term time.
Over the coming months, we will be in touch with further information about the schemes and to your students gain a better understanding and what we have to offer. If you, your students or their parents/guardians have further queries or questions, feel free to get in touch via Cheltenham.Apprenticeships@ge.com
As we begin to see applications coming through, can we please ask that you ensure your students and interested applicants remember that in order for application to be considered, they must include a CV and a covering letter, as detailed in the job descriptions.
We would also strongly encourage all applicants to ensure they read the job description thoroughly – we have tried to provide as much information as possible to ensure applicants know exactly what we are looking for, and what they need to do as part of the recruitment process.
