You will benefit from a package of services tailored to your specific needs. The service is delivered digitally (online and over the phone) so that you have the flexibility to access the service at a time to suit you.
The support on offer will include a blend of:
• Access to our online Jobs Portal which has the resources,
factsheets, videos, tips and tools to bring you up to date
with today’s employment practices and improve your ability
to find the right job in the current job market
• Four hours of flexible digital 1-2-1 support
• Help to create or improve your CV
• A mock interview
• Job searching techniques
• Access to the JobFinder tool so that you can quickly search
thousands of live job vacancies from across the UK
• Virtual group sessions on a range of topics from improving
your confidence and staying motivated to identifying all your
existing skills that can widen your job search into new roles
• Factsheets and guides about specific sectors, the types of
jobs they have available and the skills they are looking for
• Access to a dedicated job search adviser who will help you
to get the best from the Jobs Portal resources and to develop
your knowledge and confidence of recruitment practices
• Your own Job Finding Action Plan so that you control your
journey back to work
Who is the service for?
The service is only available to you if you have been referred to us by your
Jobcentre Plus Work Coach and if you meet the following criteria:
– You have been unemployed for up
to 13 weeks
– You have access to and are able to use a telephone and a digital device with
internet access such as a smartphone or tablet, and you are able to register
– For individuals unable to gain access to a computer or smart device the
service can be delivered by phone
