Adult Education in Gloucestershire are providing a range of Employability workshops and courses to help you think about your future, improve your employability and boost your wellbeing!

Gateway to Your Future
Monday 5th July
9:30am – 2:30pm – Online via Zoom
Is your job at risk or have you recently been made redundant? Or just worried about your future work prospects? You will work with our qualified career and employability specialist to find out how your interests, aspirations and skills can lead you to a new career and more!

Moving Forward
Monday 12th July – 16th July
9:30am – 1:30pm – Adult Education, 4-6 Commercial Road, Gloucester, GL1 2EA
This 5 day introductory employability course will help you build your confidence and motivation and identify your hidden strengths, whilst also refreshing your CV, Interview and Job application knowledge.

Interview Masterclass Workshop
Monday 23rd August
10:00am – 2:30pm – Online via Zoom
A 1 day workshop on how to prepare well for an Interview, delivered by a careers specialist using very simple techniques that can elevate anyone’s interview skills.

Improve Your English For Work* Limited spaces

Are you a budding entrepreneur? Or just interested to find out more about how a business is set up? Create a new business idea and learn the ins and outs of a business venture.

CV Masterclass Workshop

A 1 day workshop on how to write a winning CV and Cover Letter delivered by a careers specialist using very simple techniques that will draw in employers.

Empowering Literacy for Work – 16-24 year olds 
10th and 12th August 
17th and 19th August
24th and 26th August
1:00pm – 4:00pm – Online via Zoom
Book onto one of our 2 day workshop for 16-24 year olds where we will help develop literacy skills, build confidence to tackle online assessments during recruitment and use English effectively in the workplace so that you become prepared for the world of work. Ideal for young adults who have struggled to pass English at school.

Confidence with Numbers for Work – 16–24 year olds
10th and 12th August 
17th and 19th August
24th and 26th August
1:00pm – 4:00pm – Online via Zoom
Book onto one of our 2 day workshop for 16-24 year olds where will help combat fears around numbers, build confidence in tackling decimals, fractions and percentages and help tackle online assessments for jobs. Ideal for young adults who have struggled to pass their Maths at school.

All of our workshops/courses are free subject to eligibility
Must be:
•        Over the age of 19
•        A UK/EEU resident in the last 3 years / valid residence permit
One of the following:
•        Unemployed/earning below £17,000 a year
•        Qualified below a Level 2 (5 GCSEs equivalence)
•        Mental health challenges (includes substance misuse)
•        Learning difficulty or disability
