Work and Health Programme – JETS
Early light touch employment support for up to six months.
Who is it for?
- A light touch employment programme to help people return to work as quickly as possible.
- People who have been out of work and in receipt of benefits for at least 13 weeks.
How to refer
Referrals are made via Jobcentre Plus Work Coaches.
Restart Scheme
Enhanced medium-term support for up to
12 months.
Who is it for?
- People who have been out of work and in receipt of Universal Credit for between
12 to 18 months.
- Early access can be considered where this is the most appropriate route for the individual.
- Universal Credit claimaints should be available for work but have no sustained earnings.

Work and Health Programme
Longer-term, support for up to 21 months for people with a health condition, disability or other barriers.
Who is it for?
- People who have a health issue or disability; or
- People who have been unemployed and claiming benefits for two years; or
- Early Access customers – people who are carers, ex-carers, care leavers, former armed forces, armed forces reserves, partner of former armed forces, homeless, dependent on drugs or alcohol, offenders (still serving on probation), ex-offenders or refugees.
