Digital Technology Solutions Apprenticeships
Digital technology solutions professionals support internal and external customers across a range of areas, including software development, business and systems analysis, cyber security, data analysis and network infrastructure. As such, they bring to their organisation skills that are integral to 21st Century business operations.
Starting in April 2021, through these degree apprenticeship programmes we work with learners to develop core skills before they then specialise in one of three pathways:
1.Software Engineer Pathway
Learners on this pathway develop the skills to design, build and test high-quality software solutions. They learn to apply engineering principles to all stages of the software development process whilst ensuring robust security measures are built in.
2.Network Engineer Pathway
Learners on this pathway develop specialist skills to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation, or between organisations. They develop an understanding of network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and are able to give technical advice and guidance. They also develop the skills they need to play a key role in ensuring network security.
3.Data Analyst Pathway
Apprentices on this pathway learn to collect, organise and study data to provide new business insights. They develop the skills to provide up-to-date, accurate and relevant analysis for the organisation they work for, and they gain a broad grounding in technology solutions to be effective in their role.
Data Science Degree Apprenticeships
In April 2021, we will also be launching new degree apprenticeships in Data Science. On these programmes, apprentices will learn how to find information in diverse datasets to address complex problems and improve organisational processes. They will learn how to source, access and manipulate data, and use the insights they have gathered to inform and achieve organisational goals.
